Expert PDF provides a set of options for you to organize the objects in your PDF documents.
Align
The Align Objects option supports such actions as Align Left Edges, Align Vertical Centers, Align Right Edges, Align Top Edges, Align Horizontal Centers, and Align Bottom Edges.
- Select objects to align while the Edit mode is ON.
- To select multiple objects at once, hold the Ctrl key while clicking.
- Choose the type of distribution depending on your needs in the Tool Area that appears.
- Alternatively, right-click and choose the type of alignment in the context menu.
Distribute
The Distribute Horizontally/Vertically feature allows to distribute the objects horizontally or vertically, so they are equally spaced.
The Distribute Horizontally option makes the objects equally spaced from left to right, and the Distribute Vertically feature makes them equally spaced from top to bottom.
- Select the objects you want to be distributed while the Edit mode is ON.
- To select multiple objects at once, hold the Ctrl key while clicking.
- Choose the type of distribution in the Tool Area.
Flip
The Flip Horizontally/Vertically options allow you to mirror the objects from left to right or from top to bottom, respectively.
- Select the objects you want to flip horizontally while the Edit mode is ON.
- To select multiple objects at once, hold the Ctrl key while clicking and selecting.
- Choose the Flip Horizontally/Flip Vertically option in the Tool Area that appeared.
- Alternatively, right-click and choose the type of alignment in the context menu.
Arrange
The Arrange Objects option provides the ability to perform the following actions in your PDF document: Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send to Back, and Send Backward.
- Select the objects you want to arrange while the Edit mode is ON.
- Right-click and select the Arrange Objects command in the context menu.
- It is also possible to arrange objects using the Reorder option on the Tool Area.
Group and Ungroup
The Group and Ungroup functions provide the ability to group multiple objects into one object so that they will stay together if they are moved, resized, arranged, etc.
- Select the objects you want to group or ungroup while the Edit mode is ON.
- To select multiple objects at once, hold the Ctrl key while clicking.
- Right-click and select the Group Objects command in the context menu.
- It is also possible to group and ungroup objects using the corresponding options in the Tool Area.
